Pam brings 15 years of public and private sector investment and advisory experience with a specialization in renewable energy and emerging markets. Her career started at Goldman Sachs in New York where she worked in the Special Situations Group, a principal investments team focused on opportunistic investments across public and private, debt and equity vehicles in start-ups, growth, and late-stage markets. She left Goldman to pursue a passion in renewable energy, serving as the Global Director of Clean Energy Programs at the Clinton Foundation, where she consulted on the roll-out of renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste and water programs. Pam relocated to South Africa in 2011 to assist the Industrial Development Corporation, a development finance institution, on a multi-billion rand mandate to invest in renewable energy projects. In 2013, she founded Arista Capital Advisors, a financial advisory firm providing services to private sector, government, and NGO clients in the clean energy and infrastructure sector in Africa. In 2021, Pam became a partner in Infra Impact Investment Managers, a specialist infrastructure investment manager that provides growth capital to the energy, water, waste, and telecommunications sectors in South Africa. Pam has been a presenter and panel speaker at various industry forums as an expert in renewable energy finance, and has had reports published in industry reviews.
