Fowzia Davids is the director of Bloem Consulting Services, a social impact research and project management and implementation firm. She has experience in various private travel and security companies, specialising in geopolitical risk and economic and social assessments. She has experience in the conceptualisation, management, and implementation of development and social impact projects at a leading renewable energy company, with a speciality focus on youth and education-related development.
She has been awarded several scholarships and grants from organisations including the Women’s Development Bank, the Oppenheimer Memorial Trust, and AWQAF South Africa. She is also a South Africa Washington International Programme (SAWIP) fellow, and a Firoz Lalji Programme for African Leadership (PfAL) fellow. Her MSc in African Development from the London School of Economics, Bachelor of Arts Honours in International Relations and a BSocSci in Economics, International Relations, and Media and Writing from the University of Cape Town has equipped her with sharp analytical skills to spearhead any research project and achieve development goals.
