The Durban University of Technology (DUT) and Energy and Water SETA launched the EnergyDRIVE project in 2016, this amazing and information filled project makes learning about renewable energy fun and easy for learners to understand, the EnergyDRIVE truck features interactive demonstration models such as a solar roof structure, wind turbine mounting system, biogas digester, photovoltaic panel display unit as well as a solar hot water display unit.
Based on last year’s fantastic support, and positive outcomes; DUT, SAWEA with support from the CSIR will embark on another educational road-trip with the EnergyDRIVE!
The DUT-SAWEA Team will depart from the Eastern Cape on the 30th of July and return on the 17th of August 2018, making its way through the Western Cape and Northern Cape, stopping at selected schools in proximity to a participating wind farms along their journey.
